On May 1, the final of the 11th Freshman Debate Competition of Wuhan University in 2021 was concluded. Our school debate team won the championship by winning the Law School team 5-2. Yuhe Long, the fourth debater of our team, from 2020-grade social science experiment class, was selected as "The Best Debater".

The final was entitled As Leaving Campus, We Should Say Goodbye to Youth / Let Youth Continue. The Law School team was affirmative, whose viewpoint was we should say goodbye to youth. Our school team was negative, whose viewpoint was youth should be continued.

The 11th Freshman Debate Competition of Wuhan University in 2021 lasted more than 40 days, and 35 departments and schools of Wuhan University selected 64 teams to participate in the competition. Our school selected 3 teams to participate in the competition. Yuhe Long, Jiawen Qian, Wenqing Li won "The Best Debater" respectively. The debating quality, thinking ability and serious attitude of the participants of our school debate teams have been unanimously affirmed by the judges.
